CLINICAL RESEARCH

Maddie Euckert
CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR
Meet Maddie!
Maddie Euckert joined Kerwin Medical Center in 2025 as a Clinical Research Coordinator. She brings four years of diverse clinical research experience, having worked across a variety of specialties, including neurosurgery, neurology, psychiatry, physical medicine, and pediatric critical care. Maddie’s journey in clinical research began with an internship in the Neurocritical Care Department at UT Southwestern before her final semester at Texas A&M University. After graduating with degrees in Psychology and Neuroscience in December 2021, she returned to the Peter O'Donnell Jr. Brain Institute to continue her work in neurological research.
Maddie's passion for understanding the brain and helping people led her to explore multiple avenues in research. She spent two years conducting studies in neurosurgical and neurological fields before transitioning to pediatric critical care research at Children’s Medical Center Dallas. After further developing her skill set as a Clinical Research Manager for a startup, Maddie recognized her true calling was working directly with patients, especially within the neurological field. This realization brought her back to her roots in clinical research coordination, where she’s thrilled to be contributing to Kerwin Medical Center’s mission of advancing care in the realm of neurological health.
A native Texan from Fort Worth, Maddie’s deep sense of empathy and dedication to improving the lives of others fuels her commitment to research. She is particularly excited about contributing to groundbreaking treatments that can make a difference in patients’ lives. Outside of work, Maddie enjoys attending concerts and music festivals, shopping, and indulging in all things beauty. She’s also a beach enthusiast—if there’s sand and water, you can find her there enjoying the tranquility of the shore.

Meet Gabi!
Gabi joined the KMC team in October of 2024. Here's what she has to say:
I genuinely enjoy being part of a team that makes a difference in people’s lives. With years of experience working with the older community, I’ve developed a strong passion for providing support and creating meaningful connections. One of my favorite aspects of my role is the opportunity to interact with patients face-to-face, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for.
As a natural people person, I thrive on building relationships and making every individual feel heard and valued. Whether I’m assisting patients or collaborating with colleagues, I love fostering a positive, welcoming environment. For me, it’s all about making a real impact and improving the patient experience every step of the way.
